Srinagar, August 03: The State Council for Education, Research and Training (SCERT) has asked the valley’s main DIETs to submit school enrollments from the 1st to the 9th within two days.
The joint director of the Kashmir SCERT department has also asked DIET directors to share the 8th grade enrollment from each private school that falls under their jurisdiction.
The circular states: “Send enrollment of all schools from Years 1 through 9 (including enrollment of Year 8 students in private schools) within your jurisdiction positively within two days.”
The link for submitting the registration is https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tp9atFz_mwzB7jlm3AN3RI-76iw683kjf7sLclDZdn0/edit?usp=sharing
The circular also states: “The affected DIETs are asked to carefully fill out the Google sheet with only their own sheets, without overriding the registration of the other counties.”
In addition to filling in the Google Sheets, the matriculation in Excel format must be sent to this office by email to ersa.scertik@gmail.com.
An official from the School Education Department told Rising Kashmir that SCERT collects these details every year to prepare the textbooks that are provided free of charge in government schools.
He also said, “The search for 8th grade enrollment in private schools will be exam-oriented.”
